The Republic of Logarithms started as Michaelville, which was founded on December 10, 1998. The established border was the boundary of my bedroom. Early citizens included John Denton, David Grilli, and Brian Northrup, who took advantage of the prospering Michaelville stock market. Michaelville enjoyed friendly trade relations with David's country, the United Cyber States of Cyberworld. At this critical time during middle school, the Michaelville government began printing currency. In the seventh grade of the President's US education, a war was began with Matt Styer and his country. Similar to the Cold War between the US and Russia, there were no actual battles, only verbal ones. This continued until the eleventh grade with a historic peace treaty between the nations. Shortly after this a decree was issued to change the country's name to the Republic of Logarithms, in preparation for the most important alliance ever. On September 5, 2002 the People's Republic of America was established, formed out of the three nations: The Republic of Logarithms (Michael Vincent's nation), The Republic of Integral Calculus (Sunil Gopal's nation), and Matt Styer's unnamed nation. Together, these three nations have a vision of being joined by many future micronations to rise up and form a world power.
